London Zoo, Regents Park

Enjoy the outdoors this May half term at Chester Zoo and with their Rainy Day Guarantee (24 May–8 June), a downpour won’t spoil your visit. If it rains for two hours or more, you can return for free. As the UK’s leading charity zoo, Chester is home to over 21,000 animals across 500 species, including many of the world’s most endangered.

SEA LIFE Manchester 

Step back in time at SEA LIFE Manchester for Jurassic Challenges! Follow a fossil trail, meet a baby Triceratops, and discover rays, turtles, and sharks – with dino-themed photo ops throughout.

SEA LIFE Manchester offers free carer tickets, wheelchair and buggy access throughout, and support for visitors with hidden disabilities through their green lanyard scheme. Assistance dogs are welcome too. Quiet times at the aquarium run every Wednesday morning from 10am until 12pm and on selected Sundays from 9:30am until 11am.

Yorkshire Wildlife Park, Doncaster

Based in South Yorkshire, on the outskirts of Doncaster, Yorkshire Wildlife Park is the UK’s number one walk-through wildlife adventure, with conservation at its heart.

This May half term, enjoy an accessible day out where you can hire manual wheelchairs, mobility scooters, or child pushchairs - just be sure to pre-book online to avoid disappointment, as availability is limited. The park features accessible toilets throughout, including a Changing Places facility in the Yorkshire Hive courtyard. There are plenty of seating and rest areas across the grounds, along with wheelchair wash stations. For great animal views, you’ll find ground-level glass viewing panes at many enclosures and animal houses.

Glasgow Science Centre, Glasgow

This May half term, unleash curiosity at Glasgow Science Centre! Enjoy three floors of interactive exhibits, fiery science shows, hands-on workshops, planetarium journeys, and mini-IMAX screenings.

Glasgow Science Centre offers Blue Badge parking, a hearing assistance systemaccessible toilets and baby-changing areas across all levels.
