Route to (West Wood)

    Pass through the clocktower archway into the courtyard area.
    Proceed right from the clocktower past the courtyard toilets
    Pass through the open gate to the west side of the house.
    Proceed along the footpath for approximately 150 metres.
    The entrance to the West Wood area is straight ahead.
  • The route to the area is step-free via a slight ramp/slope.
  • Path surfaces along the route are tarmac and gravel.
  • The majority of the paths are wide enough for wheelchair users.
  • There is no accessible shuttle to this area.

Outdoor Spaces (West Wood and Play Areas)

  • This information is for the access point located to the west of the house.
  • There is step-free level access into the area.
  • There is a gate at the surveyed access point which is permanently held open.
  • The following outdoor facilities are available: playgrounds, play equipment, woodland, and a bird hide.
  • The outdoor spaces include the following surfaces: concrete or tarmac, wood bark and compact earth.
