Equipment and Resources to Borrow
- You can borrow or hire the following equipment: manual wheelchairs. It is highly recommended that these are booked in advance, where this is possible. Please check the National Trust website for details.
- Sensory packs can be borrowed which include: ear defenders, fidget toys, sunglasses and communication cards.

- You can borrow or hire the following mobility vehicles: off-road/all-terrain mobility scooters. It is highly recommended that these are booked in advance, where this is possible. Please check the National Trust website for details.

Route to (the Walled Garden)
- Follow the path down from the welcome building and then continue through Home Farm and up the hill.
Follow the main driveway down the hill, continue past Tyntesfield House until you reach a crossroads. Continue down the hill from the crossroads.
Once inside the Kitchen Garden there is an opening at the rear to the Walled Garden. - The route to the area is step-free via a very steep ramp/slope.
- Path surfaces along the route are concrete and gravel.
- The majority of the paths are wide enough for wheelchair users.
- There is an accessible shuttle which can take visitors to this area.
Outdoor Spaces
- This information is for the access point located at the rear of the kitchen garden.
- There is step-free level access into the area.
- There is a gate at the surveyed access point which is permanently held open.
- The following outdoor facilities are available: gardens.
- The outdoor spaces include the following surfaces: gravel.
- Footpaths are available in all of the outdoor spaces.
- The majority of the paths are wide enough for wheelchair users.
