Equipment and Resources to Borrow
- You can borrow or hire the following equipment: manual wheelchairs. It is highly recommended that these are booked in advance, where this is possible. Please check the National Trust website for details.
- You can borrow these from the visitor reception. View more information about booking and collection of equipment.
- Powered mobility vehicles cannot be borrowed or hired.
Route to (the Garden)
- Exit the visitor reception and take the first left, through an open doorway with a width of 96cm.
Go into the house on the left and through to the house exit.
Turn right after leaving the house, then take the first left through an open access point to the garden area. - The route to the area is step-free via a steep ramp/slope.
- Path surfaces along the route are tarmac.
- The majority of the paths are wide enough for wheelchair users.
- There is no accessible shuttle to this area.
Outdoor Spaces
- This information is for the access point located to the right of the Barn Café.
- Access into the area is via a slight ramp/slope.
- The slope is over 150cm wide, with no handrails.
- There is open access at the surveyed access point.
- The following outdoor facilities are available: a grassed play area and formal gardens.
- The outdoor spaces include the following surfaces: gravel.
- Footpaths are available in all of the outdoor space.
