Equipment and Resources to Borrow

  • To borrow the tramper, visitors must be a member of Countryside Mobility, which covers insurance etc.
    Visitors can join Countryside Mobility at Trengwainton on the day of hire.
    Ear defenders are available to borrow from visitor reception.

Route to (the Walled Kitchen Garden and Orchard)

  • From visitor reception, follow the main driveway up the hill until a signposted right turning.
    Continue up the slight slope, turn left until the signposted crossing turns right.
    The garden is straight ahead through the arch.
  • The route to the area is step-free level and is step-free via a slight ramp/slope.
  • Path surfaces along the route are tarmac and gravel.
  • The majority of the paths are not wide enough for wheelchair users.
  • There is no accessible shuttle to this area.

Outdoor Spaces

  • This information is for the access point located to the right of the main driveway.
  • Access into the area is via a slight ramp/slope.
  • The slope is between 75cm and 150cm wide.
  • This is an open gap at the surveyed access point.
  • The outdoor spaces include the following surfaces: grass, gravel and compact earth.
  • Footpaths are available in all of the outdoor space.
  • The majority of the paths are not wide enough for wheelchair users.
  • There is step-free level access around the area.
  • There are bench seats situated along the paths for people to rest.
