Route to (the Parkland)

  • From the visitor office turn back towards the car park and walk ahead turning to the left.
    Walk up the grassed slope towards a gate which is the access point for the parkland.
  • The route to the area is step-free via a slight ramp/slope and is step-free via a steep ramp/slope.
  • Path surfaces along the route are compact earth.
  • The majority of the paths are wide enough for wheelchair users.
  • There is no accessible shuttle to this area.

Outdoor Spaces

  • This information is for the access point located off the car park.
  • Access into the area is via a steep ramp/slope.
  • The slope is over 150cm wide, with no handrails.
  • There is a gate at the surveyed access point which opens towards you (pull).
  • The gate is self-closing.
  • The gate has a latch lock.
  • The width of the gap is 125cm.
  • The outdoor spaces include the following surfaces: concrete or tarmac, grass and uncompacted earth.
