Route to (the Parkland)
- From the visitor office turn back towards the car park and walk ahead turning to the left.
Walk up the grassed slope towards a gate which is the access point for the parkland. - The route to the area is step-free via a slight ramp/slope and is step-free via a steep ramp/slope.
- Path surfaces along the route are compact earth.
- The majority of the paths are wide enough for wheelchair users.
- There is no accessible shuttle to this area.
Outdoor Spaces
- This information is for the access point located off the car park.
- Access into the area is via a steep ramp/slope.
- The slope is over 150cm wide, with no handrails.
- There is a gate at the surveyed access point which opens towards you (pull).
- The gate is self-closing.
- The gate has a latch lock.
- The width of the gap is 125cm.
- The outdoor spaces include the following surfaces: concrete or tarmac, grass and uncompacted earth.
- Footpaths are not available in all of the outdoor spaces.
- The majority of the paths are not wide enough for wheelchair users.
- There is no step-free level access around the area.
- There are steep ramps/slopes without handrails in the main areas .
