Parking (Bloody Bridge Public Car Park)
- This site does not have a car park.
- Nearby parking includes: an open air public car park.
- Bloody Bridge Public Car Park is operated by Newry, Mourne and Down District Council.
There is picnic bench seating and an information board / map in the car park.
Hikes and Trails (Bloody Bridge)
- The walk is approximately 380 metres long.
- Bloody Bridge is located on the opposite side of the busy road from Bloody Bridge Public Car Park.
From the south of the car park take care and cross the road to the entrance gates. There are level changes without dropped kerbs opposite the gates, although the car park exit can be used with care if preferred.
There is a swing gate followed by narrow kissing gates to enter the path. Alternatively, the wide farm gates can be opened instead.
The bridge is accessed via slight slopes to the left. - The walk is open 24 hours.
- None of the paths are lit at night.
- The route includes the following surfaces: tarmac, grass, block paving and gravel.
- The route is clearly signposted.
- The route has information boards with large maps.
- The route travels through areas which are busy with traffic.
- Seating is not available on the route.
- There are no toilet facilities along the route.
Hikes and Trails (Bloody Bridge River)
- The hike is approximately 500 metres long.
- Bloody Bridge is located on the opposite side of the busy road from Bloody Bridge Public Car Park.
From the south of the car park take care and cross the road to the entrance gates. There are level changes without dropped kerbs opposite the gates, although the car park exit can be used with care if preferred.
There is a swing gate followed by narrow kissing gates to enter the path.

The route to the river is located down to the left of Bloody Bridge.
There are large stones and a steep gradient down to and throughout the river area.
The area is used by gorge walkers. Climbing experience in wet conditions is recommended.

From the south of the car park take care and cross the road to the entrance gates. There are level changes without dropped kerbs opposite the gates, although the car park exit can be used with care if preferred.
There is a swing gate followed by narrow kissing gates to enter the path.

There is a narrow, uneven path with rocks and steps in places which follows the river upwards. - The hike is open 24 hours.
