Equipment and Resources to Borrow
- You can borrow or hire the following equipment: a manual wheelchair. It is highly recommended that these are booked in advance, where this is possible. Please check the National Trust website for details.
- Sensory packs can be borrowed which include: ear defenders, fidget toys, activity sheets, soft toy and communication cards.

Route to (Lime Tree Walk)
- After exiting visitor reception turn right and then follow the path beside the car park down to the left.
- The route to the area is step-free level.
- Path surfaces along the route are tarmac.
- The majority of the paths are wide enough for wheelchair users.
- There is an accessible shuttle which can take visitors to this area.
Outdoor Spaces
- This information is for the access point located near the car park, across from visitor reception.
- Access into the area is via slight ramps/slopes.
- The slope is over 150cm wide.
- There is open access at the surveyed access point.
- The following outdoor facilities are available: parkland and woodland.

- The outdoor spaces include the following surfaces: concrete or tarmac, loose chippings, gravel and wood.
- Footpaths are available in all of the outdoor spaces.
- The majority of the paths are wide enough for wheelchair users.
- There is no step-free level access around the area.
- There are slight ramps/slopes without handrails in the main areas.
- The slight slopes are located throughout the walk.

Hikes and Trails (Lime Tree Walk - Yellow Route)
- The walk is approximately 0.9 miles long.
- The Lime Tree Walk (yellow) route follows the path down from visitor reception to the stone pavilion, then along the front of the Argory House gardens towards the River Blackwater.
The path runs parallel to the river walk through a long avenue of trees before turning left and heading back towards the house, following the entrance road to the car park and reception.
The river can be viewed before returning to the route, or the river walk path can also be taken to re-join the route beyond the avenue of trees.
An alternative return route down from the car park entrance road is also available which offers a boardwalk (with some steep slopes) and a wildlife hide. - The walk is not open 24 hours.
- None of the paths are lit at night.
