Route to (the Parkland)

  • On leaving the car park, turn left and continue past the café and shop.
    Head straight down the path and the parkland entrance will be on the right.
  • The route to the area is step-free level.
  • Path surfaces along the route are gravel and bonded gravel.
  • The majority of the paths are wide enough for wheelchair users.
  • There is an accessible shuttle which can take visitors to this area.

Outdoor Spaces

  • This information is for the access point located opposite the membership and tickets hut by the garden.
  • There is step-free level access into the area.
  • There is a gate at the surveyed access point which opens towards you (pull).
  • The gate is self-closing.
  • The gate has a latch lock.
  • The width of the gap is 161cm.
  • The outdoor spaces include the following surfaces: loose chippings, grass, compact earth, uncompacted earth and loose stones.
  • Footpaths are available in all of the outdoor spaces.

  • There are slight ramps/slopes without handrails and steep ramps/slopes without handrails in the main areas.
