Route to (the South Terrace and Hillside Gardens)

  • From the Blue Badge bays, cross the entrance road and follow the path around to the back of the house.
    Steps provide access at either end of the South Terrace.
    The Hillside Gardens are accessible from the terrace.
  • The route to the area is step-free via a slight ramp/slope.
  • Path surfaces along the route are tarmac, paving stones and bonded gravel.
  • The majority of the paths are wide enough for wheelchair users.
  • There is no accessible shuttle to this area.

Outdoor Spaces (South Terrace and Hillside Gardens)

  • This information is for the access point located at the rear of the house.
  • Access into the area is via steps.
  • There are 6 steps, which are unmarked, with a handrail on the left going up.
  • The access points to the area are located at the rear of the house, at either end of the South Terrace.
  • There is open access at the surveyed access point.
  • From the South Terrace, a variety of sloped paths and steps lead up to the hillside gardens, including the Quarry Garden, Top Terrace, Bothy and Plantation.
  • The following outdoor facilities are available: woodland and gardens.
  • The outdoor spaces include the following surfaces: grass, block paving, gravel and compact earth.
  • Footpaths are available in all of the outdoor spaces.
