Route to (The Tea Room)
- With the visitor reception building to your right, head to the pathway crossroads. The walled garden is straight ahead. Turn left at this junction and continue until you get to the fork in the path. At the fork take the left hand path and continue until you get to Park Farm on your right. Go past the farm and there is a small gate and metal fence. The gate opens away from you and has a width of 105cm. Open the gate and continue. The path bends to the right. You will pass a monument tower (the tower of the winds) to your right. Continue on the path and in the distance you will see the Hall. Before the Hall there is another fork in the path. Straight on takes you to the Hall and the left hand fork takes you to another fork. Follow the left hand path for the most accessible entrance. This route will take you through a gate which is 90cm wide. This is the outdoor seating area. There is a slight slope to the back door which takes you inside the tea room.

- Path surfaces along the route are gravel and bonded gravel.
- The majority of the paths are wide enough for wheelchair users.
- There is an accessible shuttle which can take visitors to this area.
Entrance
- The entrance surveyed is located at the rear of the tea rooms in the yard.
- There is step-free access via slope at the entrance.
- The slight slope is between 75cm and 150cm wide, with handrails on both sides.
- There is a single manual door which are permanently open.
- The width of the opening is 89cm.
Eating and Drinking (The Tea Room)
- This is a tea room which serves hot and cold snacks.
- There is a counter where food and drink can be ordered.
- Staff can provide assistance and offer service to tables.
- Menu types include: written wall menus.
- Menus are easy to read (large clear font with contrasting colours).
- The following are available here: takeaway cups, two handled cups, takeaway cutlery, a portable card machine for payment and large-handled cutlery.
- Lighting levels are moderate to good.
- There is no (or very little) background noise here.
- There is a clearly signed hearing assistance system.
- The hearing assistance system was tested and working at the time of the survey.
- There is a counter over 85cm high with a tray rail.
- The counter is 90cm high.
- There is not a section of the counter at a suitable height for a wheelchair user.
- There is step-free level access around the seating area.
- There are tables and chairs without armrests available in the seating area.
- The seating area does not have: a mixture of chairs with and without armrests.
- Tables are at a suitable height for a wheelchair user.
- The surface height of the tables is 75cm.
- All flooring in the area is smooth and even.
