Visitor Reception
- Access into the area is via a step and a steep ramp/slope (which bypasses any steps).
- The ramp is under 75cm wide, with no handrails.
- There is 1 step, which is clearly marked, with no handrails.
- The door is manual, permanently held open and has a low colour contrast with the surrounding walls.
- The width of the door opening is 142cm.
- There is step-free level access around the area.
- There is no room for wheelchair users to manoeuvre (150cm x 150cm) within the majority of the area.
- All flooring is smooth and even.
- There is step-free level access to the counter.
- The height of the counter is 75cm.
- The counter is placed in front of a patterned background.
