From Visitor Reception, follow the path ahead.
The path descends a steep hill to a level area with a lake and island.
Cross the bridge onto the island, and follow the path to the Old Castle entrance.
The route to the area is step-free via a steep ramp/slope.
Path surfaces along the route are tarmac.
The majority of the paths are wide enough for wheelchair users.
There is no accessible shuttle to this area.

This information is for the access point located at the end of the path from Visitor Reception.

There is a gate at the surveyed access point which is permanently held open.
The following outdoor facilities are available: castle ruins, access to the old castle interior.
The outdoor spaces include the following surfaces: grass and block paving.
Footpaths are available in some of the outdoor space.

There are less than 3 steps without handrails in the main areas.
Most of the doorways in the ruins have a step at the threshold.
The grass can be used to bypass these steps, except for the section of the old castle right next to the lake.
