Route to (Badger and Pepper Play Area)
- From Visitor Reception, follow the path ahead.
The path descends a steep hill.
Take the path on the right, and then again to the right.
The entrance to the Badger and Pepper Play Area is on the right. - The route to the area is step-free via a steep ramp/slope.
- Path surfaces along the route are loose wood chippings and tarmac.
- The majority of the paths are wide enough for wheelchair users.
- There is no accessible shuttle to this area.
Outdoor Spaces (Badger and Pepper Play Area)
- This information is for the access point located in the grounds, off the path leading to the Old Castle.
- Access into the area is via a steep ramp/slope.
- The slope is over 150cm wide, with no handrails.
- There is open access at the surveyed access point.
- The following outdoor facilities are available: a playground with play equipment.
- The outdoor spaces include the following surfaces: wood bark.
- Footpaths are not available in all of the outdoor space.
- There is no step-free level access around the area.
- There are steep ramps/slopes without handrails in the main areas.
- The playground is sloped throughout.
- There are bench seats situated along the paths for people to rest.

- There is a route around the play equipment which is not firm and even, but is over 150cm wide.
