Route to (the Woodland Trail)

  • The access point for the woodland trail is in the bottom left hand corner of the car park.
    There are slight slopes on the pathways leading to the Woodland Trail.
  • The route to the area is step-free via a slight ramp/slope.
  • Path surfaces along the route are compact earth, gravel and muddy.
  • The majority of the paths are wide enough for wheelchair users.
  • There is no accessible shuttle to this area.

Hikes and Trails (Woodland Trail)

  • The trail is approximately 1 mile.
  • The route is a circular around the woodland area.
    Wheelchair users might require assistance due to the terrain.
    There are slight slopes on the pathways around the trail.
  • The trail is open 24 hours.
  • None of the paths are lit at night.
  • The route includes the following surfaces: grass, compacted gravel and mud.
  • Some of the route contains very uneven surfaces.
  • These are found in the following areas: The Woodland.
  • There are no alternative routes to avoid these areas.
  • The route is not clearly signposted.
  • The route has handheld maps.
  • Seating is not available on the route.
  • There are no toilet facilities along the route.
