Route to (Coastline)
- Go to the far end of the car park then go past the payment machine and then follow the steps downhill to the narrow road. Turn left, go along the road for a short distance and the beach will be straight ahead.
- The route to the area includes more than 3 steps without a handrail.
- Path surfaces along the route are tarmac and gravel.
- The majority of the paths are not wide enough for wheelchair users.
- There is no accessible shuttle to this area.
Outdoor Spaces
- This information is for the access point located at the entrance to the beach.
- Access into the area is via a slight ramp/slope.
- The slope is over 150cm wide, with no handrails.
- There is open access at the surveyed access point.
- The following outdoor facilities are available: beach.
- The outdoor spaces include the following surfaces: concrete or tarmac, grass, compact earth, sand, shingle and loose stones.
- Footpaths are available in some of the outdoor space.
- The majority of the paths are not wide enough for wheelchair users.
- There is step-free level access around some of the area.
- There are slight ramps/slopes without handrails in the main areas.
- The slopes are located on the beach as the sand slopes towards the water's edge.
- There are some bench seats situated along the paths for people to rest.
