The most accessible entrance has a steep ramp/slope and doors permanently held open.
This entrance is off Bishop's Gate Car Park.
There is not a member of staff available for help and assistance.

This site is not part of the Sunflower Lanyard Scheme.
The nearest toilet with adaptations for disabled people is located in the walled garden. View information about this toilet (new tab).

Head to the far end of the Lion's Gate Car Park, and go up the sloping path to the right.
Continue in the same direction through the gate and up the grassed hill.
Cross the tarmac path, and take the grassed path to the right.
Pass through the gate and go down the steep slope to Bishop's Gate.
The route to the area is step-free via a steep ramp/slope.
Path surfaces along the route are tarmac, gravel, muddy and grass.
The majority of the paths are wide enough for wheelchair users.
There is no accessible shuttle to this area.

This information is for the access point located at the east side of the grounds.
Access into the area is via a very steep ramp/slope.
The slope is over 150cm wide.
There is an easy open gate at the surveyed access point which opens towards you (pull).
The gate is not self-closing.
The gate has a latch lock.
The following outdoor facilities are available: woodland and gardens.
The outdoor spaces include the following surfaces: grass, gravel and uncompacted earth.
Footpaths are available in some of the outdoor space.
The majority of the paths are not wide enough for wheelchair users.
