Equipment and Resources to Borrow

Route to (the Lake Walk)

  • Exit visitor reception and go up the slope straight ahead.
    Turn left at the end of the path and then take the path opposite the house.
    Follow the path to the T-junction at the end and the walk will begin.
  • The route to the area is step-free via a steep ramp/slope.
  • Path surfaces along the route are tarmac and gravel.
  • The majority of the paths are wide enough for wheelchair users.
  • There is no accessible shuttle to this area.

Outdoor Spaces

  • This information is for the access point located at the end of the path opposite the house.
  • There is step-free level access into the area.
  • There is open access at the surveyed access point.
  • The following outdoor facilities are available: gardens and open countryside.
  • The outdoor spaces include the following surfaces: grass and gravel.
  • Footpaths are available in all of the outdoor space.

Hikes and Trails (Lake Walk)

  • Take the path on the left at the start of the lake walk.
    Follow the path around the lake taking the first paths on the right all the way around.
    You will finish back where the walk began.
  • The walk is not open 24 hours.
  • None of the paths are lit at night.
  • The route includes the following surfaces: compacted gravel.
  • The route is not clearly signposted.
  • Seating is available on the route.
  • There are no toilet facilities along the route.
