Route to (the Dog Exercise Area)

  • From car park 1, follow the path on the left side of the area back towards the entrance.
    Cross the zebra crossing and follow the path around to left until you reach the dog exercise area on the left.
  • The route to the area is step-free level.
  • Path surfaces along the route are tarmac and paving stones.
  • The majority of the paths are not wide enough for wheelchair users.
  • There is no accessible shuttle to this area.

Outdoor Spaces

  • This information is for the access point located opposite car park 2.
  • There is step-free level access into the area.
  • There is a gate at the surveyed access point which opens towards you (pull).
  • The gate is not self-closing.
  • There are bollards at the access point which have a minimum width of 260cm and are 50cm high.
  • The bollards do not contrast visually with the ground.
  • The outdoor spaces include the following surfaces: grass.
  • Footpaths are not available in all of the outdoor space.
  • There is step-free level access around some of the area.
  • There are steep ramps/slopes without handrails in the main areas.
  • The top end of the area is steeply sloped.
  • Bench seating is available.
