Route to (Rose Garden)

  • From the visitor reception building, turn left onto the main pathway, passing the tea garden on the left and the rose garden on the right. At the end of the main gravel pathway turn to the right and the entrance to the rose garden is on the right.
  • The route to the area is step-free via a steep ramp/slope.
  • Path surfaces along the route are compact earth and gravel.
  • The majority of the paths are wide enough for wheelchair users.
  • There is no accessible shuttle to this area.

Outdoor Spaces

  • There is step-free level access into the area.
  • The access points to the area are located on the northern side of the rose garden and organic kitchen garden and a stepped access point at the south side of the garden.
  • There is open access at the surveyed access point.
  • The width of the gap is 115cm.
  • The following outdoor facilities are available: formal gardens.
  • The outdoor spaces include the following surfaces: grass, block paving and gravel.
  • Footpaths are available in some of the outdoor space.
  • The majority of the paths are not wide enough for wheelchair users.
