Equipment and Resources to Borrow
- You can borrow or hire the following equipment: manual wheelchairs. It is highly recommended that these are booked in advance, where this is possible. Please check the National Trust website for details.

- Powered mobility vehicles cannot be borrowed or hired.
Route to (the Walled Garden)
- From visitor reception, take the pathway over the River Test and then turn right onto a gravel pathway.
Follow this pathway until there is a pathway to the right which will take you to alongside the Walled Garden. The entrance is then on the left. - The route to the area is step-free via a slight ramp/slope.
- Path surfaces along the route are concrete, gravel and wood.
- The majority of the paths are wide enough for wheelchair users.
- There is an accessible shuttle which can take visitors to this area.
Outdoor Spaces
- Access into the area is via a step and a slight ramp/slope.
- The slope is between 75cm and 150cm wide, with no handrails.
- There is 1 step, which is unmarked, with no handrails.
- The access points to the area are located on two sides of the garden.
- There is a gate at the surveyed access point which is permanently held open.
- The width of the gap is 115cm.
- The outdoor spaces include the following surfaces: gravel and compact earth.
- Footpaths are available in some of the outdoor space.

Toilet with Adaptations (Walled Garden - Accessible - Right Hand Transfer)

- The door is manual, opens outwards and has a high colour contrast with the surrounding walls.
