Route to (the Courtyard Café)

  • From the visitor reception go straight ahead towards the house.
    Go between the hedges and turn right before the house.
    The café ordering point entrance will both be on the right.
    To access the outdoor seating area, turn right from the visitor reception and go through the open access point.
  • The route to the area is step-free level.
  • Path surfaces along the route are compact earth.
  • The majority of the paths are wide enough for wheelchair users.
  • There is no accessible shuttle to this area.

Entrance (Main House)

  • The entrance surveyed is located near the main house.
  • There is step-free level access at the entrance.
  • The width of the opening is 108cm.
  • There is a small lip on the threshold of the entrance with a height of less than 1.5cm.

Picnic Area

  • The following information describes the picnic area located to the right from the visitor reception.
  • There is step-free level access into the area.
  • There are tables.
  • All chairs have armrests on both sides.
  • Adapted picnic tables are not available.
  • The distance between the floor and the underside of the highest picnic table is 67cm.
  • The standard height for the underside of picnic tables is 76cm.
  • There is step-free level access around the area.
  • The surface in the picnic area is not smooth and even.
  • Where the flooring is not smooth or even, this is due to uneven paving/tiles.

Entrance (Café Order Point)

  • The entrance surveyed is located to the side of the main house.
  • There is step-free access via ramp at the entrance.
  • The slight ramp is between 75cm and 150cm wide, with no handrails.

  • There is 1 step, which is unmarked, with no handrails.

Eating and Drinking (Café Order Point)

  • This is a café which serves hot and cold meals and snacks.
