Route to (the Tea Room)

  • Leave the car park with the visitor reception and Blue Badge parking on your right.
    Turn right down the tarmac path.
    Follow the path round to the right and continue down the path lined with trees.
    The male accessible toilets is on the right before the picnic area entrance.
    The picnic area entrance is straight ahead.
    The tea room building entrance is on the left within the picnic area.
  • The route to the area is step-free level.
  • Path surfaces along the route are tarmac, gravel and paving stones.
  • The majority of the paths are wide enough for wheelchair users.
  • There is no accessible shuttle to this area.

Standard Toilet (Male)

  • Access into the toilet is via a slight ramp/slope.
  • The ramp is between 75cm and 150cm wide, with no handrails.
  • The door is manual, permanently held open and has a medium colour contrast with the surrounding walls.

Toilet with Adaptations (Male - Right Hand Transfer)

  • This toilet is located within the male standard toilets.

Eating and Drinking

  • This is a tea room which serves hot and cold meals and snacks.
  • There is a counter where food and drink can be ordered.
  • Staff can provide assistance and offer service to tables.
  • Menu types include: written wall menus and menu boards.
  • Menus are easy to read (large clear font with contrasting colours).
