Route to (the Tea Room)
- With the visitor reception to your right, head along the pathway.
At the end of the pathway you get to the three rock houses.
Straight ahead past Fletcher, is a set of steps that go to the right.
There is a set of steps then a pathway to the right which is also stepped.
There is a rest place halfway along the last set of steps.
At the top, turn left to the tea room. - The route to the area is step-free via a slight ramp/slope, is step-free via a very steep ramp/slope and includes more than 3 steps with a handrail.
- Path surfaces along the route are compact earth, gravel, muddy, paving stones and sand.
- The majority of the paths are wide enough for wheelchair users.
- There is no accessible shuttle to this area.
Entrance
- The entrance surveyed is located at the front of the tea room.
- There is stepped access at the entrance.
- There is 1 step, which is unmarked, with no handrails.
- The step is not at the recommended height (between 15cm - 18cm).
- There is a single manual door which opens away from you.
- The width of the opening is 92cm.
Eating and Drinking
- This is a tea room which serves hot and cold snacks.
- There is a counter where food and drink can be ordered.
- Staff can provide assistance and offer service to tables.
- Menu types include: written wall menus.
- Menus are not easy to read (unclear font with poorly contrasting colours).
- The following are available here: drinking straws, takeaway cups, two handled cups, easy grip cutlery, takeaway cutlery, a portable card machine for payment and large-handled mugs.
- Lighting levels are moderate to good.

- Where the flooring is not smooth or even, this is due to gravel.
- Some of the tables and chairs are accessed via 2 unmarked steps.
Toilet with Adaptations (Tea Room - Ambulant - Right Hand Transfer)
- This toilet is located behind the tea room.
- Access into the toilet is via steps.
- There are 2 steps, which are unmarked, with no handrails.
- This toilet is approximately 15m from the tea room entrance.
- There is pictorial and written text signage on or near the door.
- The door is manual, opens outwards and has a low colour contrast with the surrounding walls.
- The width of the toilet door opening is 77cm.
- The door has a twist lock.
- The dimensions of the cubicle are 180cm x 145cm and it does not have a 150cm x 150cm turning space.
- There is a lateral transfer space to the right of the seat.
- The lateral transfer space is 125cm from the side of the toilet pan to the wall.
- There is a push button flush on top of the cistern.
- The following grab rails are available: a horizontal grab rail on the non transfer side, a vertical grab rail on the non transfer side and a vertical rail on the right side of the wash basin.

- Some flooring in the shop is smooth and even.
- Where the flooring is not smooth or even, this is due to carpet.
- There is step-free level access around the shop.
- There is no (or very little) background noise here.
