Route to
- From the Visitor Reception, proceed along the pathway and turn right at the circular garden.
Cross the circular garden, keeping the stables courtyard on the right.
Take the pathway through the hedge and turn right.
Follow the path and the gate to the Woodland Walk is on the left. - The route to the area is step-free level.
- Path surfaces along the route are tarmac and concrete.
- The majority of the paths are wide enough for wheelchair users.
- There is no accessible shuttle to this area.
Hikes and Trails (Woodland Trail)
- The trail is approximately 2.9 miles.
- The route passes through open fields, grazing land with livestock and woodland.
The are some level paths with slight slopes along the trail.
Some parts of the trail may be muddy.
There are gates along the pathway. - The hike is not open 24 hours.
- None of the paths are lit at night.
- The route includes the following surfaces: grass, gravel and mud.
