Parking
- This site has a car park.
- This is an open air car park with a tarmac and gravel surface.
- Parking is free for National Trust members and Blue Badge holders, but charges apply for all other visitors.

- The dimensions of the designated Blue Badge parking bay(s) surveyed are 230cm x 460cm.

Toilet with Adaptations (Granary Toilet Block - Ambulant - Right Hand Transfer)
- This toilet is located to the right after you enter the toilet block.
- There is step-free level access into the toilet.
- This toilet is approximately 2m from the toilet block entrance.
- There is tactile and pictorial signage on or near the door.
- The door is manual, opens outwards and has a medium colour contrast with the surrounding walls.
- The width of the toilet door opening is 87cm.
- The door has a lever twist lock.
- The dimensions of the cubicle are 147cm x 218cm and it does not have a 150cm x 150cm turning space.
- There is a lateral transfer space to the right of the seat but it is obstructed.

Equipment and Resources to Borrow

These can be borrowed from the visitor reception or the house.
The visitor shuttle is stationed outside visitor reception, but can be summoned to the house, car park, chapel or garden by using the call point in the car park or by speaking to a member of staff or volunteer.
Visitor Reception (Tickets and Information)
- Access into the area is via a steep ramp/slope.
- The slope is over 150cm wide, with no handrails.
- The door is manual, permanently held open and has a high colour contrast with the surrounding walls.

- There are 4 steps.
- The steps are not clearly marked but there is a handrail on the left going down.
- Lighting levels are moderate to good.
Exit
- The exit is located to the left of the reception counter.
- There is step-free access via ramp at the exit.
- The slight ramp is between 75cm and 150cm wide, with a handrail on the right going down.
- The ramp overcomes the steps.
- There are 2 steps, which are clearly marked, with a handrail on the left going down.
- The handrails cover all steps.
- Some of the steps are not at the recommended height (between 15cm - 18cm).
- There is a single manual door which opens towards you.
- The width of the opening is 105cm.
