Equipment and Resources to Borrow
- You can borrow or hire the following equipment: manual wheelchairs and a mountain trike. It is highly recommended that these are booked in advance, where this is possible. Please check the National Trust website for details.

Route to (the Garden)
- From visitor reception, follow the path ahead to the house.
Just before the house, the path to the garden is on the right. - The route to the area is step-free via a slight ramp/slope.
- Path surfaces along the route are bonded gravel.
- The majority of the paths are wide enough for wheelchair users.
- There is a shuttle which can take visitors to this area, but wheelchair users will need to transfer into it.
Outdoor Spaces
- This information is for the access point located to the right of the house.
- Access into the area is via a slight ramp/slope.
- The slope is over 150cm wide.
- There is open access at the surveyed access point.
- The outdoor spaces include the following surfaces: bonded gravel.
- Footpaths are available in all of the outdoor spaces.
- The majority of the paths are wide enough for wheelchair users.
- There is step-free level access around the area.
- There are bench seats situated along the paths for people to rest.
