Summary

- The most accessible entrance has step-free level access and an open entrance with no doors.
- This entrance is the access point just past the house, to the left.
- There is not a member of staff available for help and assistance.

Equipment and Resources to Borrow
- You can borrow or hire the following equipment: manual wheelchairs and a mountain trike. It is highly recommended that these are booked in advance, where this is possible. Please check the National Trust website for details.

Route to (the Donkey Stables)
- From visitor reception, follow the path ahead to the house.
Pass the front of the house, then turn left.
The stables are ahead on the right. - The route to the area is step-free via a slight ramp/slope.
- Path surfaces along the route are bonded gravel.
- The majority of the paths are wide enough for wheelchair users.
- There is a shuttle which can take visitors to this area, but wheelchair users will need to transfer into it.
Outdoor Spaces
- This information is for the access point located past the house, to the left.
- There is step-free level access into the area.
- There is open access at the surveyed access point.
- The following outdoor facilities are available: a playground with play equipment.
- The outdoor facilities also include: a picnic area, and donkey enclosure.
- The outdoor spaces include the following surfaces: wood bark.
- Footpaths are not available in all of the outdoor space.
- The majority of the paths are wide enough for wheelchair users.
- There is no step-free level access around the area.
- There are slight ramps/slopes without handrails in the main areas.
- The whole area slopes away from the access path.
- There are bench seats situated along the paths for people to rest.

Playground
View
- There is a route around the play equipment which is not firm and even, but is over 150cm wide.
- The play equipment is in easy reach for seated and standing users, and users of different heights.
- The following play experiences are available: sliding and climbing.
Picnic Area (Donkey Stables)
- The following information describes the picnic area located in front of the donkey enclosure.
- There is step-free level access into the area.
- There are picnic tables.
- No chairs have armrests on both sides.
- Adapted picnic tables are available.
- The standard height for the underside of picnic tables is 72cm.
- The following furniture is permanently fixed: all of the chairs and all of the tables.
- There is no step-free level access around the area.
- The surface in the picnic area is not smooth and even.
- Where the flooring is not smooth or even, this is due to bark chippings.
