Route to (Gift Shop and Book Shop)
- From the rear of the blue badge parking, turn left and follow the path round until you reach the junction.
At the junction, turn left and continue straight towards the courtyard to the right of Ham House.
At the courtyard, turn immediately left towards the West Courtyard and the shops and toilet facilities are located directly ahead. - The route to the area is step-free level.
- Path surfaces along the route are concrete, gravel, cobbles and paving stones.
- The majority of the paths are wide enough for wheelchair users.
- There is no accessible shuttle to this area.

- There are alternative routes to the Gift Shop and Book Shop via Ham House which involve steps and slight to steep ramps/slopes.
Toilet with Adaptations (Left Hand Transfer)
- This toilet is located in the West Courtyard, in an outbuilding opposite the Gift Shop.
- Access into the toilet is via a steep ramp/slope.
- The slope is over 150cm wide, with no handrails.
- This toilet is approximately 7m from the Gift Shop.
- There is pictorial signage on or near the door.
- The door is manual, opens outwards and has a medium colour contrast with the surrounding walls.
- The width of the toilet door opening is 86cm.
- The door has a twist lock.
- Internally the door has a medium colour contrast.
- The dimensions of the cubicle are 170cm x 284cm and it has a turning space of at least 150cm x 150cm.
- There is a lateral transfer space to the left of the seat.
