Route to (the Tea and Coffee Room)

  • From visitor reception, continue down the hill and then turn right.
    The tea and coffee room is straight ahead.
  • The route to the area is step-free via a slight ramp/slope.
  • Path surfaces along the route are gravel and cobbles.
  • The majority of the paths are wide enough for wheelchair users.
  • There is no accessible shuttle to this area.

Entrance

  • The entrance surveyed is located at the front of the tea and coffee room.
  • There is step-free level access at the entrance.
  • There is a single manual door which is permanently open.
  • The width of the opening is 420cm.

Eating and Drinking

  • This is a tea room which serves drinks only.
  • There is a self service counter.
  • Menu types include: menu boards.
  • Menus are easy to read (large clear font with contrasting colours).
  • The following are available here: takeaway cups.
  • Lighting levels are moderate to good.
  • There is no (or very little) background noise here.
  • There is not a hearing assistance system.
  • There is a counter under 85cm high without a tray rail.
