You can borrow or hire the following equipment: a manual wheelchair. It is highly recommended that these are booked in advance, where this is possible. Please check the National Trust website for details.
Sensory packs can be borrowed which include: ear defenders, fidget toys, sunglasses, binoculars, magnifying glass, activity sheets, soft toy, communication cards, accessible maps and sensory maps.

Turn left out of the welcome hut and go down the track, through an open gate and pass to the left of the Piggery Tea Room.
After the stables, but before you reach the house, follow the track left down a slope.
Then turn right through open gates to face the front of the house.
To the left there is a ramp, which bypasses some steps, take this then carry on through the archway.
The entrance to the bookshop is on the right via a ramp.
The route to the area is step-free via a steep ramp/slope and includes up to 3 steps without a handrail.
Path surfaces along the route are gravel, muddy, cobbles, paving stones and bonded gravel.
The majority of the paths are wide enough for wheelchair users.
