Equipment and Resources to Borrow
- You can borrow or hire the following mobility vehicles: a tramper. It is highly recommended that these are booked in advance.
- You can borrow these from the visitor reception trailer. View more information about booking and collection of equipment.
- There are charges to borrow a tramper.
Route to (The Music Room)
- From the visitor trailer reception go straight ahead down the slope.
Continue to the right of the first building, going between a set of buildings.
Take the path to the right of the courtyard.
The Music Room is on the right. - The route to the area is step-free via a steep ramp/slope.
- Path surfaces along the route are compact earth, gravel, muddy, cobbles and paving stones.
- The majority of the paths are wide enough for wheelchair users.
- There is no accessible shuttle to this area.
Event Space
- Access into the activity area is via a slight ramp/slope.
- The slope is over 150cm wide, with no handrails.
- The door is manual, permanently held open and has a low colour contrast with the surrounding walls.
- The width of the door opening is 198cm.
- Internally the door has a low colour contrast.
- There is step-free level access around the space.
- All flooring in the area is smooth and even.
- Some of the flooring has a very shiny finish, which could cause issues with glare or look slippery to some people.
- Lighting levels are varied.
- The layout of this space, and available furniture, varies depending on the event taking place.
- The space does not have a hearing assistance system.
- There is a second manual door at the entrance, which is permanently held open with a width of 80cm.
There is a small lip on the threshold of this door, which is over 1.5cm.
