Equipment and Resources to Borrow
- You can borrow or hire the following equipment: manual wheelchairs. It is highly recommended that these are booked in advance, where this is possible. Please check the National Trust website for details.

- You can borrow or hire the following mobility vehicles: trampers. It is highly recommended that these are booked in advance, where this is possible. Please check the National Trust website for details.

Route to (the Natural Play Area and River Gardens)
- From the visitor reception turn left taking the less sloped path.
Continue along this path until you come to a fork and turn right.
The play area will be on the left after a short distance. - The route to the area is step-free via a slight ramp/slope.
- Path surfaces along the route are compact earth, tarmac and gravel.
- The majority of the paths are wide enough for wheelchair users.
- There is no accessible shuttle to this area.
Outdoor Spaces (Natural Play Area)
- This information is for the access point located on the left off Mill Walk.
- There is step-free level access into the area.
- There is open access at the surveyed access point.
- The following outdoor facilities are available: a playground with play equipment.
- The outdoor spaces include the following surfaces: wood bark and compact earth.
- Footpaths are available in all of the outdoor space.
- The majority of the paths are not wide enough for wheelchair users.
- There is step-free level access around some of the area.
- There is a ramped bridge in the area.
- There are some bench seats situated along the paths for people to rest.

- There is a route around the play equipment which is firm and even, but is less than 150cm wide.
- The play equipment is in easy reach for seated and standing users, and users of different heights.
- The following play experiences are available: climbing, balancing and social play.
