Route to (The Barn Coffee Shop from the Lower Car Park)
- From the lower car park cross over the road.
The gravel pedestrian path is located on the left after a swing gate, however, many people still use the tarmac road.
There is a long easy slope up towards the coffee shop after approximately 700 metres.
Cross the road towards the coffee shop building and follow the path to the accessible entrance.
Alternatively, use the car park road leading to the main coffee shop entrance at the front of the building.
Access to the trails are all near this area. - The route to the area is step-free via a slight ramp/slope.
- Path surfaces along the route are gravel.
- The majority of the paths are wide enough for wheelchair users.
- There is no accessible shuttle to this area.
Parking (Upper Car Park)
- This site has a car park.
- This is an open air car park with a tarmac, loose chippings and gravel surface.
- Parking is free for all users.
- Maps and information boards are available.
- There are 3 Blue Badge parking bays.
- The dimensions of the designated Blue Badge parking bay(s) surveyed are 250cm x 480cm.
- There is a hatched zone on one side but not to the rear.

- The following information describes the picnic area located surrounding the coffee shop.
- Access into the area is via slight ramps/slopes.
- The slope is between 75cm and 150cm wide.
- There are picnic tables.
- No chairs have armrests on both sides.
- Adapted picnic tables are available.
- The standard height for the underside of picnic tables is 74cm.
- The following furniture is permanently fixed: all of the chairs and all of the tables.
- There is step-free level access around some of the area.
- Some of the surface in the picnic area in the area is smooth and even.
- Where the flooring is not smooth or even, this is due to grass.
Entrance (Accessible)
- The entrance surveyed is located at the rear of the building.
- There is step-free access via slope at the entrance.
- The slight slope is between 75cm and 150cm wide, with no handrails.
- There is a single manual door which opens away from you.
- The width of the opening is 100cm.
Entrance (Main)
- The entrance surveyed is located at the front of the building.
- There is stepped access at the entrance.
- There are 2 steps, which are unmarked, with no handrails.
- Some of the steps are not at the recommended height (between 15cm - 18cm).
- There is a single manual door which opens away from you.
- The width of the opening is 83cm.
- There is a small lip on the threshold of the entrance with a height of less than 1.5cm.
Eating and Drinking
- This is a café which serves hot and cold snacks.
- There is a counter where food and drink can be ordered.
- Staff can provide assistance and offer service to tables.
- Menu types include: written wall menus.
- Menus are not easy to read (unclear font with poorly contrasting colours).

- There is a lateral transfer space to the right of the seat but it is obstructed.
- The lateral transfer space is 80cm from the side of the toilet pan to the wall.
