Route to (the Mini-Castle Play Area)

  • Exit the visitor reception and take the pathway to the right up a steep slope.
    Cross a driveway and continue up a steep slope, through a gap and into a courtyard.
    Proceed ahead past the outdoor seating, turn left and continue down a slope.
    The play area is located on the left.
  • The route to the area is step-free via a steep ramp/slope.
  • Path surfaces along the route are tarmac and gravel.
  • The majority of the paths are wide enough for wheelchair users.
  • There is a shuttle which can take visitors to this area, but wheelchair users will need to transfer into it.
  • The majority of paths are wide enough for a wheelchair, however, the gap into the courtyard is 100cm wide.
    The visitor shuttle can take visitors up to the gap and can carry a folded manual wheelchair.

Outdoor Spaces

  • This information is for the access point located opposite the tea room.
  • There is step-free level access into the area.
  • There is a gate at the surveyed access point which opens away from you (push).
