Summary

- The most accessible entrance has a step and an open entrance with no doors.
- This entrance is at the front of the kiosk.

- This site is not part of the Sunflower Lanyard Scheme.
- The nearest toilet with adaptations for disabled people is located on the left of the adventure play area. View information about this toilet (new tab).
- Crozier car park is near the adventure play area and kiosk.
Equipment and Resources to Borrow
- You can borrow or hire the following equipment: manual wheelchairs. It is highly recommended that these are booked in advance, where this is possible. Please check the National Trust website for details.
- Sensory packs can be borrowed which include: ear defenders, magnifying glass and activity sheets.
- You can borrow these from the shop, business support or the house. View more information about booking and collection of equipment.
- Powered mobility vehicles cannot be borrowed or hired.
Eating and Drinking
- This is a kiosk which serves ice cream.
- Access into the area is via a step.
- There is 1 step, which is unmarked, with no handrails.
- There is a counter where food and drink can be ordered.
- There are picnic tables available in the seating area.
- The seating area does not have: a priority table and a mixture of chairs with and without armrests.
- Tables are at a suitable height for a wheelchair user.
- The surface height of the tables is 75cm.
- The following furniture is permanently fixed: all of the chairs and all of the tables.
- Flooring in the area is not smooth and even.
- Where the flooring is not smooth or even, this is due to gravel.
Picnic Area
- The following information describes the picnic area located in front of kiosk.
- Access into the area is via a slight ramp/slope.
- The slope is over 150cm wide.
- There are picnic tables.
- No chairs have armrests on both sides.
- Adapted picnic tables are not available.
- The standard height for the underside of picnic tables is 62cm.
- The following furniture is permanently fixed: all of the chairs and all of the tables.
- There is step-free level access around some of the area.
- Some of the surface in the picnic area in the area is smooth and even.
- Where the flooring is not smooth or even, this is due to compacted earth and grass.
