Equipment and Resources to Borrow
- You can borrow or hire the following equipment: manual wheelchairs. It is highly recommended that these are booked in advance, where this is possible. Please check the National Trust website for details.
- Sensory packs can be borrowed which include: ear defenders and fidget toys.

- You can borrow or hire the following mobility vehicles: an off-road/all-terrain mobility scooter. It is highly recommended that these are booked in advance, where this is possible. Please check the National Trust website for details.

Route to (the Walled Garden)
- Follow the path from visitor reception over the bridge.
Continue along the path to the stable yard entrance.
Once through the stable yard entrance, turn right and continue ahead.
The formal garden entrance will be on the right.
Follow the path through the formal garden entrance, turn left at the fork and the walled garden will be on the right. - The route to the area is step-free level and is step-free via a steep ramp/slope.
- Path surfaces along the route are tarmac, concrete and gravel.
- The majority of the paths are not wide enough for wheelchair users.
- There is no accessible shuttle to this area.
Outdoor Spaces
- There is step-free level access into the area.
- The access points to the area are located at the front of the garden and also off the orchard.
- There is a gate at the surveyed access point which is permanently held open.
- The width of the gap is 87cm.
- The outdoor spaces include the following surfaces: grass and gravel.
- Footpaths are available in all of the outdoor space.
- The majority of the paths are wide enough for wheelchair users.
- There is step-free level access around the area.
- There are some bench seats situated along the paths for people to rest.
