Entrance (Visitor Reception)

- At the time of the survey, this door was not in use due to building work.
Toilet with Adaptations (Right Hand Transfer)
- This toilet is located within the Visitor Reception.

- This toilet is approximately 2m from the External Toilet Access entrance.
- There is pictorial and written text signage on or near the door.
- The door is manual, opens outwards and has a high colour contrast with the surrounding walls.

Picnic Area
- The following information describes the picnic area located at the right hand side of the Visitor Reception.
- Access into the area is via a slight ramp/slope.
- The slope is between 75cm and 150cm wide, with no handrails.
- There are picnic tables.
- No chairs have armrests on both sides.
- Adapted picnic tables are not available.
- The standard height for the underside of picnic tables is 70cm.
- The following furniture is permanently fixed: all of the chairs and seating which is fixed to tables.
- There is step-free level access around the area.
- The surface in the picnic area is not smooth and even.
- Where the flooring is not smooth or even, this is due to grass.
