Equipment and Resources to Borrow
- You can borrow or hire the following equipment: manual wheelchairs and a mountain trike. It is highly recommended that these are booked in advance, where this is possible. Please check the National Trust website for details.
- You can borrow these from the visitor reception. View more information about booking and collection of equipment.
Route to (Ha-ha)
- From the visitor reception, enter via the opening to the left of the kiosk.
The width of the opening is 80cm.
Turn left and follow the path round to the right.
Continue straight along the path, passing the lake on your right.
At the rear of the path, take a slight left and the Ha-ha is located immediately ahead. - The route to the area is step-free level.
- Path surfaces along the route are concrete, gravel and paving stones.
- The majority of the paths are wide enough for wheelchair users.
- There is no accessible shuttle to this area.

Outdoor Spaces
- There is open access at the surveyed access point.
- The following outdoor facilities are available: woodland.
- The outdoor spaces include the following surfaces: grass, gravel and compact earth.
- Footpaths are available in some of the outdoor space.
- The majority of the paths are wide enough for wheelchair users.
- There is step-free level access around some of the area.
- There are slight ramps/slopes without handrails and steep ramps/slopes without handrails in the main areas.
- There are a mixture of slight and steep slopes throughout the Ha-Ha woodland area.
- There are not any bench seats situated along the paths for people to rest.
- After the Lake Walk path enters into the Ha-Ha area, the terrain becomes steeper as you begin on the Views Walk route.
