Summary

Equipment and Resources to Borrow
- You can borrow or hire the following equipment: manual wheelchairs and a mountain trike. It is highly recommended that these are booked in advance, where this is possible. Please check the National Trust website for details.
- You can borrow these from the visitor reception. View more information about booking and collection of equipment.
Route to (Amphitheatre Viewpoint)
- From the visitor reception, enter via the opening to the left of the kiosk.
The width of the opening is 80cm.
Turn left and follow the path round to the right.
Continue straight along the path, passing the lake on your right.
At the rear of the path, take a slight left towards the Ha-ha and follow the upwards slope along Views Walk.
Continue the path up and around to the left, passing the Camellia Terrace and keep going until you reach the end of the path near the Nine Pine Alley.
After the Nine Pin Alley, take a left and the Amphitheatre Viewpoint is located at the top of the steep slope. - The route to the area is step-free via a very steep ramp/slope.
- Path surfaces along the route are concrete, gravel, muddy and paving stones.
- The majority of the paths are wide enough for wheelchair users.
- There is no accessible shuttle to this area.

- This route is not recommended for wheelchair users due to the steep terrain.
Outdoor Spaces (Amphitheatre Viewpoint)
- This information is for the access point located at the top of Views Walk, along the path to the left.
- Access into the area is via a steep ramp/slope (which bypasses any steps).
- The slope is over 150cm wide, with no handrails.
- There are 10+ steps, which are unmarked, with a handrail on the right going up.
- There is open access at the surveyed access point.
- The outdoor spaces include the following surfaces: concrete or tarmac and gravel.
- Footpaths are not available in all of the outdoor space.
- The majority of the paths are wide enough for wheelchair users.
- There is step-free level access around the area.
- There are some bench seats situated along the paths for people to rest.
