Equipment and Resources to Borrow

- There is no charge although a donation is appreciated for upkeep of the equipment.
Route to (Launderette and Brewhouse)
- From the visitor centre, cross the road using the dropped kerbs and enter the main property gate.
There is a slight slope either side of the road
Continue ahead 10m along the gravel path.
From here, either take the shuttle bus or continue on the gravel path to the House.
From the House, turn left and continue until you get to the Launderette and Brewhouse on the left. - The route to the area is step-free via a slight ramp/slope.
- Path surfaces along the route are tarmac, gravel and bonded gravel.
- The majority of the paths are wide enough for wheelchair users.
- There is a shuttle which can take visitors to this area, but wheelchair users will need to transfer into it.
Entrance
- The entrance surveyed is located opposite the shop and Victorian kitchen entrance of the house.
- There is stepped access at the entrance.
- There is 1 step, which is unmarkedno handrails.
- The step is not at the recommended height (between 15cm - 18cm).
- There is a single manual door which is permanently open.
- The width of the opening is 102cm.
Attraction / Exhibit
- The majority of walkway widths are over 180cm.
- There is no (or very little) background noise here.
