Equipment and Resources to Borrow

Route to (The Chapel Ruins)

  • From the visitor reception follow the pathway around to the right and walk ahead towards the manor house.
    Pass the second-hand bookshop on the left.
    Continue ahead pass the walled courtyard and the chapel ruins is located ahead to the right.
  • The route to the area is step-free via a slight ramp/slope.
  • Path surfaces along the route are compact earth, tarmac, gravel and muddy.
  • The majority of the paths are wide enough for wheelchair users.
  • There is no accessible shuttle to this area.

Entrance

  • The entrance surveyed is located to the side of the ruins.
  • There is step-free access via slope at the entrance.
  • The slight slope is over 150cm wide.
  • There is an opening without doors .
  • The width of the opening is 97cm.

Attraction / Exhibit

  • The majority of walkway widths are over 180cm.
  • The exhibits do not have hearing assistance systems.
  • There is step-free level access around the area.
  • There are no seats available in the area.
  • Flooring in the area is not smooth and even.
  • Where the flooring is not smooth or even, this is due to compacted earth and grass.
