Hikes and Trails

  • The hike is approximately 4.8km.
  • The route begins with a steep incline on a tarmac path.
    The path then turns to loose stones along the majority of one side to the end of the natural pier. At this point the most accessible route would be to turn back and return via the same route.
    Alternatively follow the steep ascent up a grass and mud path which joins back up with the loose stone path to finish via the steep tarmac path taken at the beginning of the hike.
  • The hike is open 24 hours.
  • None of the paths are lit at night.
  • The route includes the following surfaces: tarmac, grass, concrete and gravel.
  • Some of the route contains steep gradients and very uneven surfaces.
