Route to (Wellingtonia Avenue and Trails)

  • Using the pathway to the right of the visitor centre, proceed for approximately 250m to the bottom of the path.
    At the bottom of the path turn left and go through the opening.
    Proceed along the path, passing the tennis courts and bowling green.
    The pathway brings you out in front of the house and lake.
    At the lake, take the pathway right.
    Go through the tunnels and the garden grounds.
    Proceed towards the Cherry Orchard.
    Wellingtonia Avenue is on the right, opposite the Orchard.
    The pathways have slight gradients slopes on the route to the gardens and there are steps at the access point.
  • The route to the area includes more than 3 steps without a handrail.
  • Path surfaces along the route are compact earth and gravel.
  • The majority of the paths are wide enough for wheelchair users.
  • There is no accessible shuttle to this area.
  • The Adventure Trail and Woodland Walk are accessed half way along Wellingtonia Avenue and on the left.
