Summary (Camellia House)

Amenities in this building include: a café, a shop and historic interiors.
The most accessible entrance has steps and a door permanently held open.
There is step-free access once inside.

The following are also available: seating and a clearly signed hearing assistance system.
At the time of our visit the hearing assistance system was working.
This site is not part of the Sunflower Lanyard Scheme.

From the visitor centre, proceed through the gate and continue straight ahead for approximately 50m.
Proceed up the steps to the right.
There are 10 steps at a height of 16cm.
The handrail is on the first set of steps to the terrace only, and not the second set that goes into the Camellia House.
Follow the pathway ahead to the Camellia House.
Path surfaces along the route are gravel and bonded gravel.
The majority of the paths are wide enough for wheelchair users.
There is no accessible shuttle to this area.

Services/facilities available in the shop include: a portable card machine for payment.

This is a café which serves hot and cold drinks, cakes and ice cream.
There is a counter where food and drink can be ordered.
Staff can provide assistance and offer service to tables.
Menu types include: written wall menus.
Menus are easy to read (large clear font with contrasting colours).
The following are available here: drinking straws and takeaway cups.
