Summary

- The most accessible entrance has step-free level access and a gate.
- This entrance is via the standard manual gate.
- There is not a member of staff available for help and assistance.
- The following are also available: seating and on site-transport.
- This site is not part of the Sunflower Lanyard Scheme.

Equipment and Resources to Borrow
- You can borrow or hire the following equipment: a manual wheelchair. It is highly recommended that these are booked in advance, where this is possible. Please check the National Trust website for details.
- Sensory packs can be borrowed which include: ear defenders, fidget toys, sunglasses, activity sheets and soft toy.
- You can borrow these from visitor reception. View more information about booking and collection of equipment.
- Powered mobility vehicles cannot be borrowed or hired.
Route to (the Cricket Pitch)
- Leave the visitor reception area and go up the path back towards the main car park.
The access point will be on the left opposite the main car park. - The route to the area is step-free level.
- Path surfaces along the route are tarmac and concrete.
- The majority of the paths are wide enough for wheelchair users.
- There is a shuttle which can take visitors to this area, but wheelchair users will need to transfer into it.
Outdoor Spaces
- There is step-free level access into the area.
- The access points to the area are located opposite the main car park.
- There is a gate at the surveyed access point which opens both ways.
- The gate is not self-closing.
- The width of the gap is 100cm.
- The following outdoor facilities are available: a sports pitch, woodland and open countryside.
- The outdoor spaces include the following surfaces: grass and compact earth.
- Footpaths are not available in some of the outdoor spaces.
- The majority of the paths are wide enough for wheelchair users.
- There is step-free level access around the area.
- There are some bench seats situated along the paths for people to rest.
