Equipment and Resources to Borrow

Route to (the Walled Garden, Cut Flower Border and Vegetable Garden)

  • From visitor reception proceed ahead and turn right into the shop. Exit the shop and turn right.
    Continue ahead down a slight slope and go through an opening then turn left.
    Proceed ahead with the bookshop on the right.
    Walk through a gate which has a ramp and turn left.
    Continue ahead up another steep ramp to the entrance to the walled garden.
  • The route to the area is step-free via a slight ramp/slope and is step-free via a steep ramp/slope.
  • Path surfaces along the route are paving stones.
  • The majority of the paths are not wide enough for wheelchair users.
  • There is no accessible shuttle to this area.

Outdoor Spaces

  • This information is for the access point located to the left of the manor house.
  • Access into the area is via a steep ramp/slope.
  • The slope is over 150cm wide, with no handrails.
  • There is a gate at the surveyed access point which is permanently held open.
  • The following outdoor facilities are available: formal gardens and gardens.
  • The outdoor spaces include the following surfaces: bonded gravel.
  • Footpaths are available in all of the outdoor spaces.
  • The majority of the paths are not wide enough for wheelchair users.
