Route to (the Garden)

  • From the main car park, follow the path downhill and then continue straight ahead to the grassed roundabout, and follow it to the left.
    Turn left under the archway.
    Continue towards the end of the path and then turn left.
    The garden entrance is on the left.
  • The route to the area is step-free level and is step-free via a slight ramp/slope.
  • Path surfaces along the route are gravel, cobbles and paving stones.
  • The majority of the paths are not wide enough for wheelchair users.
  • There is no accessible shuttle to this area.

Entrance (Standard Toilets)

  • The entrance surveyed is located along the pathway before the garden entrance.
  • There is stepped access at the entrance.
  • There is 1 step, which is unmarkedno handrails.
  • There is a single manual door which is permanently open.
  • The width of the opening is 94cm.

Standard Toilet

  • There is step-free level access into the toilet.
  • The door is manual, opens inwards and has a medium colour contrast with the surrounding walls.
  • The width of the door opening is 71cm.
  • Internally the door has a medium colour contrast.
  • The male standard toilet was surveyed.
  • There is also a female toilet in the same location.
  • The width of the widest cubicle door opening is 69cm.
  • The wash basin tap type is lever.
  • Lighting levels are moderate to good.
  • There are no hand dryers.

Outdoor Spaces

  • This information is for the access point located to the left of the house.
