You can borrow or hire the following equipment: a manual wheelchair. It is highly recommended that these are booked in advance, where this is possible. Please check the National Trust website for details.

From the main car park, follow the path downhill and then continue straight ahead to the grassed roundabout, and follow it to the right.
Turn right under the archway into the second-hand bookshop and café building.
The route to the area is step-free level and is step-free via a slight ramp/slope.
Path surfaces along the route are gravel, cobbles and paving stones.
The majority of the paths are wide enough for wheelchair users.
There is no accessible shuttle to this area.

This is a café which serves hot and cold meals and snacks.
There is full table service and a counter where food and drink can be ordered.
Menu types include: written wall menus and menu boards.
Menus are easy to read (large clear font with contrasting colours).
The following are available here: two handled cups, a portable card machine for payment and large-handled cutlery.
Lighting levels are moderate to good.
There is no (or very little) background noise here.

There is a counter over 85cm high without a tray rail.
