Summary

- This site is not part of the Sunflower Lanyard Scheme.
- The nearest toilet with adaptations for disabled people is in the toilet block next to the house. View information about this toilet (new tab).
Equipment and Resources to Borrow
- You can borrow or hire the following equipment: manual wheelchairs and a mountain trike. It is highly recommended that these are booked in advance, where this is possible. Please check the National Trust website for details.
- Sensory packs can be borrowed which include: ear defenders, fidget toys and sunglasses.
- You can borrow these from the Visitor Reception. View more information about booking and collection of equipment.
- You can borrow or hire the following mobility vehicles: mobility scooters. It is highly recommended that these are booked in advance, where this is possible. Please check the National Trust website for details.

Route to (the Rose and Formal Gardens)
- There is a long path leading from the visitor reception to the Rose and Formal Gardens.
After exiting the visitor reception follow the path ahead until the end.
Turn right here and continue along the path until you reach the house then turn left and follow the path to the front of the house and continue until you reach the gardens. - The route to the area is step-free via a very steep ramp/slope.
- Path surfaces along the route are bonded gravel.
- The majority of the paths are wide enough for wheelchair users.
- There is no accessible shuttle to this area.
Outdoor Spaces (Rose Garden)
- This information is for the access point located along the path at Anglesey Abbey House. The garden is on the right.
- There is step-free level access into the area.
- There is open access at the surveyed access point.
- The width of the gap is 148cm.
- The following outdoor facilities are available: gardens.
- The outdoor spaces include the following surfaces: bonded gravel.
- Footpaths are available in some of the outdoor space.
- The majority of the paths are not wide enough for wheelchair users.
- There is step-free level access around the area.
- There are not any bench seats situated along the paths for people to rest.
Outdoor Spaces (The Formal Garden)
- This information is for the access point located along the path at Anglesey Abbey House and on the left.
- There is step-free level access into the area.
- There is a gate at the surveyed access point which is permanently held open.
- The gate is not self-closing.
- The gate has a latch lock.
- The width of the gap is 120cm.
- The following outdoor facilities are available: formal gardens.
- The outdoor spaces include the following surfaces: grass.
- Footpaths are not available in all of the outdoor space.
- The majority of the paths are wide enough for wheelchair users.
- There is step-free level access around the area.
- There are bench seats situated along the paths for people to rest.
